Nov 2006: A bright looking future

Our Clinic consists of a wide ranging diversity of members with a wide range of athletic ability. No more so than the two younger members of the Speakman family who were seen at a recent athletic meeting on the all weather track at Nelson Park. Eric competed brilliantly in the 2000m steeplechase and posted a time of 6:46.52. He later the same afternoon competed in a 3000m flat race and recorded anther good time of 9:39.03. Not to be outdone, younger brother Brendan ran against a strong field of mainly older athletes posted another great time of 4:57.94 over 1500m. These performances bode well for the future.
