2009 Napier City Pak'n Save Half Marathon and Titan Buildings 10 and 5km run / walk
Thanks to all that took part and walked or ran their distance. We were very happy with the turnout. The weather was less sunny than its usual Hawke's Bay balmy, but the rain stayed away and with the slightly cooler temperatures conditions were near perfect. One of the highlights of the day certainly was the Classic Hits Kids K. It was so wonderful to see around 60 to 70 under 9 year olds run their lungs out on the 1km track. Also thanks a lot to Classic Hits for sponsoring the prizes that were awarded to all the kids that took part.
But as always we are interested in your thougth on what we can improve. We had a little hiccup on Saturday with the link between the racenumbers and transponders. We apologise for that and will make sure that will not happen again. Email us your thoughts. All constructive feedback is much appreciated.
